Pre-Show Information: What You Need To Know
Start times, entry rules, and how to avoid public shaming. Everything you need to know before the madness begins.
You’re about to have the night of your life! Before stepping into the chaotic world of Bongo’s Bingo it’s important to know that while we run the show, the venue controls the logistics. Each venue we partner with has their own set of rules and regulations when it comes to entry policy, prohibited items and customer safety – it's all about keeping our Bingo-goers safe and happy!
Timings & Entry
So, you’ve got your Bongo’s Bingo tickets. You’ve got the outfit. Now get the logistics sorted so you don’t miss a second of the chaos.
- Door Times: Check your specific event ticket for the exact Bongo’s Bingo start time. We recommend getting down early to secure the best spot. The show kicks off bang-on the start time, so you don’t want to be late to the party.
- Duration: Buckle in. The experience usually lasts around 3 to 4 hours of pure bingo rave madness.
- ID Requirements: Strictly 18+ only. We accept the following: Passport, Driving Licence, National ID Card, Pass Logo Age Verification Card. *Photocopies are NOT accepted under any circumstance*
The Vibe & Dress Code
One of the most common questions we get: Is there a Bongo’s Bingo dress code?
Honestly? Anything goes. We’ve seen everything from full-glam sequin dresses and three-piece suits to Shrek costumes and Harry Styles lookalikes.
- Dress Down: Jeans and trainers? Perfect.
- Dress Up: Fancy dress? Highly encouraged.
- Dancing Shoes: Mandatory. You will be up and dancing before you know it!
How It Works (The Rules)
We’ve torn up the traditional rulebook, but we do have a few golden rules to keep the night flowing:
- Seating is First Come, First Served: We don't reserve tables (unless you’re a massive group booking via our special packages). If you want to sit together, arrive together.
- The False Call: If you call "Bingo" and you haven't won, be prepared for the entire room to let you know about it. We’re talking a chorus of boos, some light-hearted public shame, and our infamous d*ckhead chant – it's all in good fun! Check your numbers!
- Respect the Staff: Our hosts, dancers, and security are there to make sure you have the night of your life. Treat them with love.
Food, Drink & Tables
We are a social extravaganza. You will be seated on long communal benches. It’s the best way to make new friends/rivals.
- Ordering Drinks: Most venues offer table service or accessible bars.
- Food: Varies by venue. Check the specific location page for food availability.
Prohibited Items
From massive arenas and festivals to sweaty nightclubs, we bring the chaos everywhere. Because we take over so many different spaces, security policies vary from door to door.
- Don't get caught out at security: We strongly recommend checking the specific venue’s website for their prohibited items list before you head out. We’d hate for you to lose your belongings (or your spot in the queue).
- Heading to an O2 Academy?: See below for their standard list of prohibited items. If you are heading to a different venue and aren't 100% sure if something is allowed, contact the venue directly for clarification before you travel.
Below you will find the full list of prohibited items from our O2 Academy venues. If you are unsure whether an item on this list will be allowed into a different venue, please contact the venue directly for clarification before you come to our event.
